Moore Haven Riverwalk
The Moore Haven Riverwalk winds alongside the Caloosahatchee River in Moore Haven, FL. It’s a pleasant stroll aside the river, beginning at a solitary large cypress tree (dubbed The Lone Cypress or Sentinel Cypress, as it was historically used in navigation on the Caloosahatchee) and ends in a residential area. Along the path are a couple of fishing piers and four picnic structures with boat docks.
The riverwalk here in Moore Haven is quite different from the Stuart Riverwalk – it’s a peaceful walk in what’s officially designated a park (rather than winding past restaurants and parks). Parking is available at City Hall near the head of the trail.
